My DC collection is getting out of control. In a good way! I'm absolutely in l.o.v.e with this latest addition. Just look at that lattice detailing! I think I've always said 'lattice' incorrectly. In my head, it sounds like ~lateese~. Extra fancy right? That's how I like it.

Yayy! This is so exciting. A few weeks ago, I won my very first ever giveaway from the lovely Yesterday's Sweetheart x Dahlia! You know I love my indie brands, and Dahlia happens to be one of my top 3 faves! This is my third (& favorite) Dahlia dress I now own and I loooove it! Just look at those pretty flurries of flowers and bows + that amazing chevron cut-out. In love.

Back to Pastels!

Aw, man! I was totally on a roll with outfit blogging but then it came to a halt! But I managed to quickly snap these photos this evening with my sleepy kitty. Funny how bright these photos look for being taken at 7.30!

Anyway! I haven't really been into pastels for about a year or so. I used to pretty much wear them all the time, but then I somehow grew tired of it. But now I'm back, and I looove it!



I'm wearing a pastel checkered dress from ASOS (Super deal for $28) and a minty belt from F21. Excuse my disheveled hair.. I play with my hair SO MUCH when I'm writing! (for work). It's such a strange habit.

ALSO, the Dear Creatures sample sale is tomorrow and I cannnnn't wait! I even had dreams about it last night.. is that weird? It's not weird.

This dress is such a dream.. cream piping, super soft fabric, topped off with a little bow! It was actually far from perfect when I first bought it (the top was HUGE in the most unflattering way.) So I took out my thread and needle and took in the sides by hand (not the most crafty)for a quick fix! Now I absolutely adore it.

Ahhh I'm obsessed! This dress is a party of a lot of the things I love- peter pan collars, coral, & sparklies! It also happens to be very special to me since it was gifted by my Tyler as a birthday present! Too sweet. I've paired with the beauuutiful RACHEL COMEY'S (scroll for story).

Okay so the story! These are infamously worn by the fanciest & fancay-est Fancy Treehouse (who I have also dubbed as Queen of Comeys!). I've always admired them but knew there was NO WAY I'd ever be able to afford them. Then one day, my greatest girl, Jess found them for the most amaazzzing price ever! I, of course, could not resist. As a first time Comey owner, I have to say they are made of wonderful quality & are actually really comfortable for their height. Win win win!

Summer... sweater dress?

Not sure if this errands outfit even qualifies for an outfit post, but I'm letting it happen anyway! I got this cozy striped sweater dress from H&M recently for 50% off(fall/winter clearance) thinking I could just save it for fall. Luckily, Portland summers resemble October, so I suppose it worked out. I especially appreciate the gold buttons on the shoulders!

Blue & Orange

I've been 23 for two days now! Old and moldy. I don't like it. Anyway, let's talk about blue & orange. Remember Christina Aguilera via Genie in a Bottle? Orange & blue at its best. Also, I'm pretty much obsessed with Lauren Conrad dresses at Kohls. If you're patient enough you can get them on sale for around $20-30! I have my eye on this guy next..
